Kettering Repair Cafe
What is a Repair Cafe?
A repair café is a community-driven initiative where people can come together to fix broken items instead of throwing them away. Volunteers, often skilled in various trades, offer their expertise to help repair everything from electronics to clothing. This not only promotes sustainability by reducing waste but also fosters a sense of community and knowledge sharing. Participants can learn valuable skills while contributing to a more eco-friendly lifestyle.

What can I get fixed?
As your fixes are done by volunteers who may change event to event it's hard to provide a definitive list of what will be available at each event, but for the most part you will usually be able to request the following types of fixes:
Electrical
Electronic
Textiles
Clothing
Small Mechanical Repairs
Knife Sharpening
Bike Repair
What about the café?
We wouldn't be a cafe without some tea, coffee and cakes. Each event will have a variety of baked goods and other food alongside tea and coffee. As with the repairs all we ask for is a donation to keep the event running.
